TROY MUNICIPAL COURT
The Troy Municipal Court was originally created in 1922 as the Troy
Recorder's Court. The Troy Recorder's Court became the Troy
Municipal Court in 1966 and J.B. Wiley was appointed Judge, where
he
remained until his retirement in 1996. N. J. Cervera was appointed
as Municipal Judge on October 1, 1996.
Rebecca H. Fowee was appointed clerk in 1982; she is currently the
Court Administrator/Magistrate. Dianne N. Chance and Mary T. Smith
are both Magistrates in the Court.
Thad Yancey, Jr. is the Prosecutor and Timothy Magee is the Public
Defender.
Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
There is a Magistrate in the office during lunch. Magistrates are
on call each weekend.
Court is held on the first and third Wednesday of each month unless
otherwise ordered.
