Street Department

 

The Street Department performs maintenance on City streets, oversees the construction of sidewalks, curbs, drain tops, inlets and mowing of city right-of-ways.

Damaged Streets or Sidewalks

It is a potentially dangerous situation when there are large potholes or other damage to City streets or sidewalks.  It is important for the safety of all our citizens and visitors of our City that these dangers be reported immediately. 

To report potholes or other street problems contact the Public Works Department during regular office hours at, (334) 566-1133.  On weekends and after office hours contact Police Dispatch at, (334) 566-0500.  In order to repair the problem as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you can provide the name and location of the street or sidewalk.
