Electric Department    

The City of Troy's Electric Department serves over 6500 customers.  The line and service crews are responsible for the construction and maintenance of the electric distribution system.   The distribution system is made up of 4 electrical substations and more than 450 miles of primary and secondary power lines.

     Meter Readers

 

Meter readers use hand-held computers to read  electric and water meters.  They are also   responsible for working line orders for services to be turned on and off.

Utilities Warehouse

 

The Utilities Warehouse purchases and distributes supplies to the electric, water, and sewer departments.
