The Troy City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, at Troy City Hall, downstairs in the Council Chambers.
Meetings are held at 5:00 pm.

	The Troy City Council operates under a mayor-council form of government. This involves the mayor, who serves and is elected at-large, and 5 council members who serve single-member districts. This municipal governing body began serving in 1985 and they strive to provide Troy citizens with positive and progressive leadership. As a result, Troy, Alabama continues to grow and develop into a great place to live and work.
