Public Works Department
The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the city of Troy's beauty by keeping the city free of trash and debris. Public Works is comprised of approximately 48 employees, who work in numerous sub-departments such as mechanic, street, trash, right of way, cemetery and landfill. Each of these departments performs their various duties under the direct supervision of Public Works Director, Vaughn Daniels.

Garbage Pick-up Schedule
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday

Recycling is picked up the same day as the designated trash collection day. Blue bags for recyclables are available at the receptionist’s desk at Troy City Hall at 306 East Academy Street.
